On November 8-10, 2017 Regula together with INTERPOL carried out a 3-day training course on travel document examination in Denpasar, Indonesia.

A previously unknown painting "Sola con mi gran soledad" ("Alone with my great loneliness"), signed by the name of Frida Kahlo and dated 1938, was discovered in a private collection in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico. In order to authenticate the painting as genuine, a number of examinations were carried out, including handwriting analysis.
On October 3-6, 2017 Regula together with ICA France carried out specialized training on identification and detection of VIN falsification for the Centre de Contrôle des Véhicules Automobiles (C.C.V.A.) in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

A delegation of the Chinese Public Security Ministry together with representatives of the State Border Committee of Belarus and the Embassy of China in Belarus visited Regula's office in Minsk. The visitors were acquainted with the latest solutions for document authenticity verification used in border control.
On 28 July 2017, Regula celebrated its 25th birthday and moved to a new office. Regula has developed a passport recognition module for iOS/Android applications. All you need is to take a picture of a passport data page or upload an existing one. The module will read the document data and fill in the fields with required personal information.
We are proud to announce that Regula has recently become a full member of the Document Security Alliance (DSA). DSA members cooperate for the purpose of combating the growing acts of fraud, illegal immigration, identity theft and other criminal acts. DSA helds numerous meetings in order to develop collective solutions on improving security documents and security related procedures.
