On November 20-21, 2017 Regula conducted a 2-day training course on operation of Regula devices and solutions for the Committee on the Protection of the State Border of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The specialized training held in Tashkent has become a part of the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA).
During the course, the trainees acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills on detection of forged security documents using the video comparator Regula 4307.111, controlled via the Regula Forensic Studio software, and the IRS Secure Documents Ultimate.
The video spectral comparator Regula 4307 and information reference systems were purchased for the Committee on the Protection of the State Border of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the programme BOMCA. The objective of the programme is to enhance the capacity for integrated border management through training and implementing the best European experience. The programme is aimed at developing infrastructure, providing equipment, conducting specialized training for law enforcement officers working at the frontline of border security.
