Mobile Workstation for
In-Field Document Examination

This mobile workstation is intended for on-site express authenticity verification and advanced examination of all types of travel documents, banknotes, visa stamps and seals, entry permits, driver’s licenses, and other documents with security features.

The delivery set comprises a notebook (model is chosen at customer’s request), two light tables, a spectral luminescent magnifier, Regula 4177-5, an optical module, Regula 4178, and a compact device, Regula 1025.

The device is controlled via Regula Forensic Studio software, which can capture, process, and store images of examined objects.

It can be used as portable (embedded battery) or stationary (powered from the AC mains) equipment. All the device's parts fit into a shockproof case for transportation.

Varied examinations

The device can examine printing techniques applied in documents, compare object sizes, detect mechanical and chemical alterations, examine document pages in UV-A, UV-B, UV-C, and in transmitted light, and check for the presence of anti-Stokes luminescence and retroreflective protection.

Mobility

Rapid on-site examinations are possible thanks to the compact hard-shell case and rechargeable battery embedded in the workstation, which enables more than 5 hours of non-stop autonomous examination.

Extra tools

The delivery set can optionally include a magneto-optical visualizer, Regula 4197, intended for examination of magnetic properties, and/or a pre-installed Information Reference System that includes a collection of document templates with a description of their security features and printing techniques in different light sources.
