Global digital identification provider REACT has partnered with Regula, a global developer of forensic devices and identity verification (IDV) solutions, to streamline and secure digital onboarding and remote ID checks. By integrating Regula Document Reader SDK into its ID Wallet, REACT has eliminated manual document checks, achieved more than 90% process automation, and reduced onboarding time per user to under 30 seconds.
Supporting European, Latin American, and US organizations with solutions for customer onboarding and identification, REACT sought a scalable, efficient, and secure solution that would streamline the IDV workflow, comply with global regulations (GDPR, eIDAS, etc.), and protect against increasingly sophisticated document fraud.
After evaluating several options, REACT selected Regula Document Reader SDK, as it had the world’s largest identity document coverage, high verification accuracy, and seamless mobile and web integration. Thanks to the integration of Regula’s solution into REACT’s ID Wallet digital platform, the whole IDV process has become fully automated and takes no more than 30 seconds.
Full-scale digital onboarding
Once the user scans their ID, Regula Document Reader SDK carries out comprehensive authenticity checks across various data zones and security elements, including MRZs, barcodes, RFID chips, holograms, and optically variable features. Its liveness-oriented approach ensures the company interacts with a genuine, physical document, not a photocopy or digital imitation. This is essential for detecting advanced forms of document fraud.
In addition, Regula Document Reader SDK cross-validates data from the visual zone, MRZ, chip, and other zones to identify any discrepancies that could signal fraud. This layered verification process allows Regula to reliably detect forged or altered documents without compromising speed or user experience.
Backed by Regula’s proprietary ID template database of 15,000+ documents from 251 countries and territories, the solution delivers forensic-level document authentication in real time regardless of the document type or origin.

As a result, REACT automated over 90% of its identity verification processes, cutting manual intervention and reducing human error. Document verification accuracy exceeds 99.5%, helping to quickly onboard legitimate users and flag potential fraud. Additionally, with Regula handling authentication, REACT’s team now focuses on higher-value tasks, saving around 30% of the time previously spent on manual checks.
