Remote Examination of Security Documents

Regula 88XX captures images of documents in different light sources at a super high resolution (up to 4380 ppi in the top-of-the-range model) with one single click.

Regula High Resolution Scanner software sends obtained images and the information about image capture parameters to a remote forensic expert for the in-depth examination. As a result, a forensic expert will decide on the validity of a particular document by examining the digitized document with the possibility to zoom in its fragments.

Revealed counterfeits or rare documents can be digitized and added to the Information Reference System for further use at border checkpoints*.

*Regula IRS is purchased separately, for adding your samples in Information Reference System you also require Regula Document Builder software.
