Regula at INTERPOL Conference on Counterfeit Currency

On September 4-6, 2019 Regula participated in INTERPOL Conference on Counterfeit Currency in Lyon, France. The three-day conference gathered 120 professionals from 47 countries. 

While discussing banknote counterfeiting, the experts analyzed the total amount of counterfeit banknotes withdrawn from circulation. Special attention was devoted to the growing tendency of digital counterfeiting. Furthermore, the participants discussed the most prominent trends in the evolution of banknote security features.

Regula representatives described the current situation with counterfeit banknotes in Belarus and demonstrated hi-tech devices for banknote and document examination which are essential for forensic analysis and counterfeit detection.
