Regula at Mobile World Congress 2019

Regula took part in the Mobile World Congress which was held on February 25-28, 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. The largest mobile fair of breakthrough technologies and innovation attracted more than 109,000 attendees from around 200 countries and territories across the world and more than 2,400 companies representing various parts of the ecosystem.


At the event, Regula team was representing a software solution for reading and extracting information from identity documents - Regula Document Reader SDK. By integrating Software Development Kit into a mobile or web application, users scan and check identity document data. This kind of solution has been in demand for various representatives of the ecosystem, starting with telecommunication, fintech & banking and expanding to healthcare and entertainment.


The company was proud to release a brand new device - Mobile Document Authenticator Regula 1120. The device can be easily connected to a mobile phone via Bluetooth® LE. Using the power of UV365 LEDs for visualizing UV luminescence, the device helps to reach another level of document authentication.


During the four-day event, Regula has attracted attendees from more than 60 countries. The visitors were amazed by the rich database of identity documents, integrated into the SDK. It is considered to be one of the largest in the world, at the current moment containing more than 7000 samples of documents.
