Regula Together With INTERPOL Is Carrying Out Training on Travel Document Examination in Kenya

On April 25-27, 2018 Regula together with INTERPOL is carrying out a 3-day training course on travel document examination in Nairobi, Kenya.

The course is being attended by Immigration Department officers from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and South Sudan. During the training, the officers will acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills on detection of forged security documents, using Regula devices and software (along with demonstration of passport production process and indication of paper/document security features). Moreover, a workshop on the facial identification process will be provided.

The effectiveness of the educational process is being achieved due to video materials, printed high-quality images and detailed description of security features, derived from regularly updated IRS with travel documents, banknotes, driver’s licenses and vehicle certificates.

Regula will continue to provide similar training opportunities together with INTERPOL for other countries and regions.
