A compact device is intended for advanced authenticity verification of all types of documents that contain security features, as well as handwritten documents. It can be connected to a PC directly or to Regula devices.

Displaying and processing images captured with the spectral luminescent magnifier are carried out via Regula Forensic Studio software.

The functionality of Regula 4177-5 can be extended by the joint use of light table Regula 4167S, an optical module Regula 4178 or Information Reference System.
