Regula 70X4M gets real things done without any bells and whistles. A compact device, it allows you to read full passport page and automatically inspect every security feature in white, infrared, ultraviolet, and coaxial lights.

The advanced OCR, trained to work with identity documents, recognizes all sorts of data, including engraved and embossed text. Smart algorithms instantly read barcodes and machine-readable zones. All modifications of Regula 70X4M are equipped with a module for reading RFID chips, certain models are supplied with a Smart card reader.

By using the SDK that comes with every Regula device, you can integrate it in to your existing systems and set up a customized data handling workflow.
In addition, you can integrate IRS database into SDK which automatically shows up reference images in different light sources and with security features of the current examined document. It helps to visually compare document under study with the authentic one.

Regula 70X4M is made of hard plastic, has no moving parts inside, and is connected to a PC via a USB cable. The reader can be optionally equipped with a flip-top cover to protect against external lighting effects that might affect scanning and character recognition.
